We are pleased to be hosting PECKHAM NEIGHBOURHOOD MEETING The Council has changed the system for ward meetings. In future, across the borough, two neighbouring wards will be paired with each other and have meetings several times a year. In #Peckham, Rye Lane ward and Peckham ward will be meeting together with their first meeting on: Tuesday 8th July 6.30-8.30pm, at Copleston Centre, Copleston Road, SE15 4AN The Council says that ‘the new Neighbourhood programme aims to shift the council's relationship with residents and communities. We want to co-design a community plan with you which will support empowered local decision making, strengthen neighbourhood identity and embed resident voices in the future of their areas'

Just one of the incredible dishes we have had in our community cafe this year! This was the most delicious beef stew with rice, a vibrant watercress salad, sour cream and homemade focaccia made by Woody @eatsshootsleaves_peckham (top secret shhhh, Woody is cooking again next Monday 16th June). Our cafe runs Monday and Wednesday 12.30pm-2.30pm and donations of £4-£5 welcome.

A very special day at Buckingham Palace for a garden party to recognise our London Dangoor Award which we received last year for Promoting Inclusion, recognising the church and centre's work together. It was a lovely sunny day and it was great to meet representatives from other faith communities and to hear about the incredible work they have been doing.
