Makers and Menders Club

**Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are delivering differently.**
Activities at the Centre are not running, but we are keeping in touch and where possible providing classes via email, video and Facebook.

Please contact us at projects@coplestoncentre.org.uk or 020 7732 3435 for more details.

Monday Makers and Menders Club is an informal and sociable drop-in group that meets in the Copleston cafe area  on Mondays at 1pm alongside our popular dominoes group. You can bring along any items you are working on, such as knitting, sewing, or upcycling, and learn from and share skills with others.

We request a contribution of £1 for those attending, and 50p towards herb teas, fruit and biscuits.

Once a month we visit the Peckham Menders Shed run by Age UK Lewisham and Southwark. The shed is part of the Mens Shed Association but also welcomes anyone who is over 50 to share and learn skills like woodworking, bike repair, model engineering and upholstery.

The Shed is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm, at Old Peckham Library, Peckham Hill Street, SE15 5JZ. For more information see mendersclub.wixsite.com/mendersclub
